rules.
A few limits for a public conversation.
What gets removed
Violent threats, encouragement of harm, severe targeted harassment, and hate directed at protected groups. Sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate content, and explicit sexual content. Private personal information, phishing, scams, malicious activity, illegal transactions, extremist recruitment, encouragement of self-harm, and concrete attempts to deceive people about how to vote.
Disagreement, criticism, political opinions, benign jokes, fiction, news, educational discussion, and asking for help are allowed. Don’t spam the feed or manipulate hearts and reports.
Crypto is off-topic here: no Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, memecoins, NFTs, trading tokens, token promotions, or pump-and-dump content. This includes neutral crypto discussion.
Reporting a post
If a post or reply breaks these rules, use its Report button. Reports are reviewed, and content that breaks the rules may be removed. Reporting alone does not remove a post.
Keeping the site usable
Posts and replies are limited to 280 characters. Avoid profanity. Posting is limited to one post per ten seconds, 20 per hour, and 100 per day per client and network address. Reports and hearts also have limits. Duplicate posts and repeated hearts from the same network address are restricted. Shared networks may share limits.
Nicknames are not verified identities. Keep the cookie returned by the server if you want to delete your own posts. Posts are public and their text appears in request URLs; keep private information out.
These rules are a simplified text-only adaptation of X’s rules, not a claim of equivalent enforcement. Unlike X, this small site has no adult-content controls, so explicit sexual content is not allowed.
